Introducing the Lapmaster 48” Single-Side Fine-Grinding system
Especially designed and built to withstand extreme conditions within a production environment while requiring minimal maintenance. These units are available with fine grinding platens from 20" up to 48" in diameter, and are specially configured for each application. Depending upon the application, these machines utilize fixed abrasive diamond or CBN suspended in resin, metal, and vitrified bonds to grind a wide range of materials to very tight specifications.

The Lapmaster 48” (1200mm) Single-Side Fine-Grinding system is a heavy-duty production machine expressly specified and engineered for fine-grinding. Based on our years of experience in providing single-side and double-side fine-grinding systems to our customers, the following features make for an exceptional manufacturing tool:

LAPMASTER FTP 130 for Metrology
Lapmaster International LLC presents the FTP 130 as a new product addition to its Metrology Line. The FTP 130 is a 3 way measuring system which accurately measures the flatness, thickness and parellelism of both 1 and 2 sided parts. Up to two different functions can be used simultaneously to measure parts as thin as 0.20mm or as thick as 200mm.
It also comes with a new analog-digital display that elimates the possibility of any inaccuracies. This unit provides a very cost effective, compact and easy to use solution for obtaining precise and repeatable measurements.

Lapmaster and Hamai Corporation Ltd. of Japan are partnering to begin offering the LSP Series in the U.S. This is a brand new line of unique ultra-precision planetary double-sided lapping & polishing machines that incoroporate a multitude of innovative features and benefits.
Hamai, a leading manufacturer of lapping & polishing equipment in Japan, has a strong presence in the optics and semiconductor markets in Asia. Established in 1926, they have contributing to the development of specialized industrial equipment for precision finishing ever since. Amongst others, they specialize in general optics applications, hard disk lapping/polishing and virgin silicon wafer lapping.
Individually, both Lapmaster and Hamai have a long history of involvement in the precision surfacing industry and it was due to this expansive knowledgebase and combined efforts that led to the creation of this newest series.
